Links to online patient registration or COVID questionnaire upgraded
Posted by Sinclair Hughes on 04 November 2021 11:58 AM

This article is only relevant if you send txt or email links to the online patient registration or COVID questionnaire and the link includes the URL of 'go.incloud.clinic'.

Some patients are getting a warning message displayed on their phone when they try to open the online COVID screening questionnaire or the online patient registration form if it is using the shortened 'go.incloud.clinic' web address.

This is because some of the newer versions of web browsers are now displaying a warning message saying if the web site URL begins with 'http' (not encrypted) instead of 'https' (encrypted).   So to fix this we have upgraded all the shortened URLs (using go.incloud.clinic) to now use the https protocol.

All you need to do is to edit the URL that you are sending to patients (by txt or email) and add an 's' to the end of the http string.  As an example, a URL may now look like  https://go.incloud.clinic/reply2dr
