ECLIPSE Billing Changes for GU Health

Grand United Corporate Health Limited (GU Health) have updated their ECLIPSE Fund Brand ID

From Tuesday 15 October 2024, GU Health closed their existing GU Health Fund Brand ID (‘FAI’).

From this date, you must submit all ECLIPSE claims and patient eligibility checks for GU Health members through the NIB Health Fund Limited Fund Brand ID (‘NIB’).

This will bring GU Health in line with other NIB partner brands, which share the same Fund Brand ID.

Rates will remain unchanged for all GU

Issue with verification for Australian Unity

The Online Technical Support (OTS) Software Vendor Technical Support (SVTS) team is aware of an issue that Australian Unity Health (AUH) has reported to Services Australia in relation to transmissions from sending locations that contain the Patient alsoKnownAs data elements.

Medicare & Health Fund schedules updated - 1 November

Medicare and most of the Health Funds have updated their schedules since 1 November 2024.

A list of the Health Funds that are available to use in the Incisive application, with the date of their latest fee schedule, is available from this link.  The list of Medicare items that have been added or modified is available from this link.

Version 414.6 is now available for the Incisive SPM & PHM applications

Version 414.6 is now available for both the 'Specialist Practice Manager' (SPM) and 'Private Hospital Manager' (PHM) applications.

It includes new features and improvements for both 414.4 and 414.6.  Version 414.4 has the more substantive number of improvements and was released last week. Version 414.6 was released yesterday and only includes the new signature-exempt authorisation for emailed prescriptions.

Changes to HBF's provider agreements effective 1 October 2023

Just a reminder, that on 1 October 2023, HBF’s provider agreements changed.

The HBF published fee schedule from this date, now only applies to WA.  All other states are to use the Access Gap Cover Schedule from AHSA for their state.

For all states other than WA, please ensure that you have configured HBF to use the AHSA Access Gap Cover schedule.

  1. Check the entry for the fund via Setup – Contacts – Health Funds.
  2. Edit the entry for HBF.

ACC pricing updates - 1 July 2024

Elective Surgery

Elective Surgery Services variation goes live on 1 July 2024. ACC have not informed us of the specific increase, however our calculations indicate the prices have increased by 6.3%.  You should confirm this rate before making changes using the percentage update option.

Unless you hold an Elective Surgery Contract, changes to the pricing for surgical procedures will be notified to you via your contract holder(s).
