NSW SIRA/Workcover have a new fee schedule from 1st Dec.

BUPA have implemented a national fee schedule from 1st December and allow the specialist to participate in either a Known-Gap or No-Gap Scheme. This means the existing fee schedules cannot be used for new services or treatment and you will need to add BUPA-KnownGap or BUPA-NoGap as new Health Fund policies.

Maternity Agreement Numbers - Ministry of Health notification

Obstetric practices are receiving notification from the Ministry of Health that agreement numbers, where previously issued to a company or group practice will no longer be valid for claiming from 29 November 2021.

If you have been issued with individual agreement numbers, these can be added via Setup - Provider - Config 3 - Edit.

AHSA no longer acts as agent for Railway & Transport Health Fund Ltd (rt health) and Transport Health Pty Ltd (Transport Health) following their acquisition by The Hospitals Contribution Fund of Australia Limited (HCF). 

Therefore, effective 15 November 2021 each of rt health and Transport Health no longer participate in AGC.  However, all of AHSA's other participating funds will continue to do so.

Medicare & Health Fund updated schedules - Nov 2021

Medicare have provided an updated schedule of benefits for November.  Only the Health Funds that use Access Gap Cover (AHSA) or Medical Gap (BUPA) have updated their fee schedules.   These are included in the latest Rates.Aus file which is now available to download and import into SPM.
