The Message Centre combines the messaging functions of:

  • Pathology & Histology reports
  • Radiology reports
  • Referral, Status & Discharge reports
  • Healthdocs
  • Emails
  • SMS (txt) messages
  • Internal Messaging (F10)
  • Attaching external documents

and also allows you to:

  • assign Tasks to yourself or other staff to be completed at a future time/date.
  • perform Actions directly for the patient
  • reconcile tests Ordered against Received

Unclaimed

Unclaimed mail collects lab reports, x-ray reports also referral messages that have not been assigned to a Provider. 

The Message Centre uses the doctor's NZMC or Provider number to identify lab reports, radiology reports or referral letters for a particular Provider.  If the incoming mail does not include the NZMC or unique Provider ID, or the message was sent to the incorrect mailbox, then the Message Centre will file it into the Unclaimed area.

My Mail

My Mail includes messages & mail that have been sent to you or that you are permitted to view

My Tasks

My Tasks are reminders of tasks that need to be performed
