This is used to record the patient as having been admitted. The process captures information that is used to complete Admission/Discharge forms and also changes the status of the patient to 'Admitted'
- Highlight the patient and click on the Admit button.
Enter the information required or, if you don't require the data, just click on the 'OK' button. The current date and time is automatically entered.
The fields are matched to the requirements of the New Zealand Department of Health statistical data collection
The fields match the requirements for statistical reporting to the Australian Department of Health
- The Admission and Discharge data is automatically entered into Private Hospital Manager (PHM) and is visible in the patient's Admission tab.
