This option allows you to advance or start a new Deposit Supplement, without first having checked and cleared the old one. It is useful in a busy practice where receipting cannot be stopped while the banking is checked, printed and cleared.
Having advanced to a new Deposit Supplement, you must still print and confirm that it is correct.
The deposit and EFTPOS supplements can also be scheduled to advance automatically (normally at midnight) by way of the program ADVDEP.EXE and the scheduled task function of Windows. In this way the receipts for a given date will all be in the one deposit or EFTPOS supplement.
