Anaesthetists and Surgical Assistants who are working with a surgeon and are linked to specific operating sessions, can use the inTOUCH app to view the sessions and also the patient details and clinical records.
The inTOUCH app uses encrypted data transmission and filters the patients to only show those who are in the operating sessions.
The 'Check Dictation' function has been removed and they will not be able to search for an individual patient.
They can create Notes and the internal Messaging function will work for their login.
If the surgeon 'shares' a view of the patient's notes that belong to another specialist, the anaesthetist or assistant will be able to see these as well.
If the anaesthetist or assistant provides services to different surgeons in the same specialist centre, they will need to have a separate Operator login (and email address) for each surgeon.
Requirements:
- SPM or PHM version 409.6 or newer
- Anaesthetist or Assistant configuration
- setup up as a Sub-contractor with a Sub-Contractor Type of either Anaesthetist or Assistant
- linked to an operating session
- setup as an Operator
- select the surgeon as their Default Provider
- link the Operator to a Sub-contractor
- setup up as a Sub-contractor with a Sub-Contractor Type of either Anaesthetist or Assistant
- inTOUCH version 4.0.0.53 or newer installed on your network with access to the Incisive database and patient files.
