Windows 11 update causing problems with remote connections .

A recent Windows 11 update has caused a change to the options when you connect to Incisive inCLOUD.  There has been no information from Microsoft about this change so we have not been able to forewarn you earlier.

When you initiate the connection, you will be presented with some options to choose for your connection to Incisive inCLOUD.

The first prompt will be a warning.  Choose the 'I understand...' option.  This will not appear again.

Which screen you get presented with next, will depend on whether you use the 'Owl' icon to start the connection, or the 'Blue computer' icon.

For both screens, the minimum you need to select are:

  • Printers
  • Clipboard

If you are using the 'Owl' icon, it will allow you to save these selections so that you don't have to select them again.

If you are using the 'Blue computer' icon, there is not an option to save the selection. This appears to be because there is not a 'Publisher' listed with the option. We are investigating to see if there is a method for the publisher to be included, which will allow the selections to be saved.

If you go to https://secure.incloud.clinic/rdweb and download a new .rdp file, it will include the incloud.clinic digital certificate which will allow your previous selection to be saved and presented the next time you log in.  It will NOT make this options display screen disappear.

If you have any issues with the above steps, please contact the help desk by emailing help@incisivesupport.com.
