Testing of the new ARTP format in the Specialist Practice Manager (SPM) application is just finishing, with the XML export function (for sending Healthdocs) having passed. We will have a new version of SPM, with this revised ARTP, available in time to meet the August 7th deadline requested by ACC. Because of the number of practices / computers that will require this update simultaneously, you may need to engage your IT provider to assist with the updating your computers, if you are not confident to do this step yourself or do not have the appropriate network Administrator account privileges. Clients using our Incisive inCLOUD servers will have the update automatically applied. As the new ARTP format requires the VendorID for the Lead Provider of the Elective Services Contract, we advise you to contact the hospitals that you perform surgery at and obtain this information from them ahead of the new changes that will be implemented. This is in addition to the existing Elective Surgery Contract number you already have for the lead provider. Once updated, you will need to add this against the lead provider (instructions on how to do this will be included with the Release notes). If you hold the Elective Surgery contract and import the ARTP's of the sub-contractors/surgeons, because the data now required by ACC does not match with the previous ARTP format, you are going to have to ensure that you and your surgeon providers are all going to be using the same version of the ARTP. | |
