Training video showing how to add Medicare items for invoicing and quoting

To easily add new invoicing codes that match with the relevant Medicare items you can use the 'Make Codes' function.

A new Knowledgebase article has been added which includes a short video demonstrating the steps involved.

In a large specialist centre each secretary is able to import the range of items that are relevant to their sub-specialty.

Medicare & Health Fund fee schedule updates - 5 July 2021

Further Health Fund fee schedules have been made available for us to provide to you. A list of the Health Funds that are available to use in the Incisive application, with the date of their latest fee schedule, is available from this link.

These are BUPA, CBD Benefits Fund (Cessnock) and Medibank Private.  Please note that NIB have provided their fee schedule on a provisional basis which is expected to change.  They have asked that you do not submit claims to NIB until you are

Medicare, TAC, WorkSafe (Vic) and AHSA (Gap Cover) are the only government agencies and insurers who have provided their updated fee schedules.

Changes to the MBS for July 2021

As you will no doubt be aware there have been a number of changes to the MBS effective from 1 July 2021.

Unable to send some emails via Microsoft365 (Office365)

On Tuesday this week Microsoft put out an urgent security bulletin  informing of a serious threat to Exchange Server.  Recent changes made to their Exchange Online (Office 365) service has caused some emails not able to be sent from SPM or PHM if you are using the SMTP Relay option.  The error is likely to appear as “Authentication failed because the remote party has closed the transport stream”.
