Can't find or access some menu options

The Integrated menu has the ability to limit access rights to all parts of the menu according to permissions that have been imposed by administrators at your practice or hospital.

  • The menu option is visible but is greyed-out and doesn't work.
    • The Role(s) you have been assigned in the application do not have permissions to use the menu option.  If you have more than one specialist check that you are using the correct one as your access permissions can change for each specialist.
    • If the name of an appointment Book has been changed this will affect the original permission settings.
    • A new menu file may of been imported but permissions have not been allocated to various Roles for the new menu items.
    • Get the System Administrator to check that they have enabled access rights for the menu option as a new menu file may of been imported but access rights not assigned to new or modified menu entries.
  • The menu option is greyed-out when I access some doctors but not for others.
    • Your permissions are based on the Roles that you have for each of the specialists.  Ask your system administrator to check the Roles you have been assigned if you believe that you should have greater access to the menu options.
  • The whole module is just not visible in the left-hand menu, but others can see it okay
    • If you do not have any access rights to any of the menu options in the module (Patient, Office etc.) you will not see the module at all.
